Paying for a subscription

A Noir subscription is paid for by bank card over the payment provider's secure connection. This page lists the payment methods we accept, explains how the payment is protected, and walks through every step from picking a plan to access being switched on.

Go to payment

Everything happens in your account: sign in with a code sent to your email, then choose a term and pay. If you already use the Telegram bot, renew there instead so you do not end up with a second account.

1. Payment methods

The following methods are accepted:

Cards issued outside Russia do not work. Visa and Mastercard cards issued by foreign banks are not accepted by Russian acquirers, so such a card is declined at the checkout regardless of its balance or limits. If you are paying from abroad, use crypto.

All settlement is in Russian roubles. The amount charged matches the price of the plan you picked, as published in the Pricing section. Fees charged by the payment provider and by your issuing bank are already included in that price and are not billed to you on top.

2. The payment provider

The payment is processed by a licensed payment provider. Its name and legal details are shown on the secure payment page when you check out. The provider keeps the transaction compliant with the PCI DSS international security standard.

Your card details (number, expiry date, CVV) are entered on the provider's payment form and are never passed to the provider of the service. All we receive is the identifier of a successful payment, the amount and the date of the transaction.

3. Payment steps

  1. Sign in to your account. You enter your email address and confirm it with a one-time code from the message we send.
  2. Pick a plan. In your account you choose the subscription term: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
  3. Go to checkout. Once the plan is chosen, a payment link is generated and you are sent to the provider's secure payment form. The connection uses HTTPS.
  4. Enter your card details. You type your card details on the provider's page. Your issuing bank may ask you to confirm the transaction with 3-D Secure: a one-time code by SMS, a push notification in your banking app, or a PIN.
  5. Payment is confirmed. On a successful payment the provider notifies us of the transaction and you are returned to the site.
  6. Access is switched on. The subscription is activated automatically within a minute of a successful payment. Connection details and links to the client software are issued automatically once payment goes through.
  7. Receipt. A receipt under Federal Law 422-FZ is generated automatically in the official "Moy Nalog" tax app and sent to your email.

4. Payment security

5. Payment receipt (Federal Law 422-FZ)

The service is provided by a self-employed individual registered under Russia's professional income tax regime (NPD). Every payment produces a receipt issued through the Federal Tax Service's "Moy Nalog" app, and a link to the receipt is sent to your email. A duplicate can be requested through support.

6. If the payment fails

Common reasons for a decline: the issuing bank rejected the transaction, the card limit is exhausted, the card has expired, the card was issued outside Russia (see section 1), or there was a technical failure. What to do:

7. Refunds

The conditions and the procedure are set out in full under Refund terms. A refund is paid to the same card the payment was made from, within 10 (ten) working days of the request being confirmed.
